I just don’t get it. Why does windows make it so hard for us to just be happy and let all the windows users use roaming profiles? Is it because Bill is secretly a huge Linux fan and wants us all to switch. Yesterday i tried to setup the local domain so the rest of the family could login on a box of choice. Everything went smooth. However.. If you use outlook it saves stuff to Local Settings. Which is dir that is not updated with the profile. Why? I don’t know. Maybe they toughed it would be a nice thing to make sure all their Outlook users would be mad.

In the end (well 10 minutes ago) i found the solution. You have to tweak some registry keys. Which i still consider extremely dangerous but above all a pain in the ass. Since we all know how organized the windows registry is.
